Saint Clair Community Church Global Mission

Our church understands the importance of world missions. The task was a command of our Lord Jesus Christ to every Christian:

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[b] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 18-20

Someone wisely wrote about Jesus’s great commission: “Jesus calls all His followers to act and share the Good News of salvation throughout the world. People hear this calling and travel each year on missionary trips throughout the earth, spreading the word of Jesus Christ. Many Christians have made incredible sacrifices, traveling to remote regions of the world beyond the civilized cities into jungles and deserts. Mission fields can also be very close to home. It could be a neighbor who has not heard the Good News, or a poverty stricken area just down the road where people can't afford Bibles. The places and people who need to hear the Gospel are everywhere!”

How are we involved?

We are helping local ministries in our Province and overseas (financially and with our prayers.)

SCCC has been partnering in World Missions through our denomination Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada.

Phil & Carolyn English – Mexico

Their ministry is focused on discipling and leadership training. A large part of their ministry is focused on training and mentoring pastors and church leaders as they are involved in overseeing and teaching a Seminary program. The rest of their time is focused on building capacity for strong discipleship in their community.
